A funeral service was conducted in the Duryea Funeral Home, Nunda, Monday for Russell E. Beardsley, 33, of N. Church St., Nunda, who died Friday (July 9, 1982) in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Dansville, he was a Vietnam War veteran. He had been employed by the State Department of Transportation in Geneseo for four years.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Beardsley of Nunda; five sisters, Linda Parravano of East Irondequoit, Peggy Riedman, Sally Hopkins and Nancy Genova, all of Nunda, and Brenda Buchinger of Dalton; two brothers, James and Thomas of Dansville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Hunt Hollow Cemetery, Town of Portage. (Genesee County Express, July 15, 1982, p7)
